Program Description: Employees in construction literally build our future! These are the people who build and remodel houses, apartments, industrial buildings, warehouses, office buildings, churches, schools and recreational facilities. This pathway also includes the builders of highways, streets, bridges, tunnels and airports as well as power plants, chemical plants, refineries and mills.
 
Prerequisites: Student may enroll without a high school diploma or high school equivalency assessment but will not be awarded a Certificate of Applied Studies without a high school diploma or high school equivalency assessment.
 
Program
Length:
Two years (1080 clock hours)
Students are accepted yearly in August

  • Carpentry I
  • Carpentry II
  • Carpentry III
  • Carpentry IV
     
Elective Courses:
  • Masonry and Plumbing
  • Blueprint Reading for Construction
  • Basic Plumbing and Electricity
  • Concrete Finishing
Certifications: NCCER (National Center for Construction Education and Research)
